Oh the body keeps the score for sure…for me it wasn’t hair, but fatigue, skin and any number of chronic health issues. I love how you began to care for your hair, and by extension to care for yourself better, and what fabulous results. You look radiant 🥰

Fatigue is another factor, a big one indeed (mental and physical). Often overlooked as we do tend to tell ourselves that it's normal because we have to get this and that done, and we have to do all these things that wouldn't get done otherwise. But then, as it happened to me, you feel no more joy or other emotions, and that is an alarm bell we do not want to ignore either!

I hope you managed to tae proactive steps to solve your skin and chronic issues, or at least had them under control 💞 and thank you, I am so grateful I managed to start this journey, anything counts towards becoming a better version of ourselves. Life is one, we might as well fully enjoy it x

I can relate a bit to what you shared here as I had some personal issues last summer coupled with decisions that didn't pan out which had me dealing with terrible anxiety for an extended period of time. My hair just started breaking off and shedding horribly, it was awful. I had to get it cut so it wouldn't look so awkward. At this point my hair is doing much better but it was concerning there for a while.

So glad to hear your hair is healthy again Annalisa! 🧡

Thank you 🤍

It is terrible when you see the effects looking in the mirror isn't it? I am so glad I know how to recognise the signs now, and take action before it's too late. I am very sorry you had to deal with anxiety, it's not easy at all! How did you manage to get over that period?

My faith, honestly. I had to understand and realize that me worrying and catastrophizing about everything was literally making me ill. I’m not saying one day everything was just 100% better, it took many months, but my headspace today is much better than it was then. Also, meditation helps so much! ✨

Yes, over worrying is really making us ill and will prevent us from seeing the amazing things we have :) And yeah I wish it was an overnight thing 😅 it takes a lot of effort and patience! Love meditation, what do you usually do in your sessions?

Just 10 or 15 minutes guided meditation. The Calm app is a good one 💚
